• D&D Beyond The major official partner of Wizards of the Coast to offer a digital toolset. Create and manage characters, party, monsters, encounters, homebrew content, and a searchable database of all D&D books in a digitally tailored format. This is my preferred tool to assist running an IRL game. (Also, I love it as a digital product.)

• Roll20 Digital tabletop gaming tools, for local and remote gaming. This is my preferred tool for using a digital map for an enounter or dungeon.

• Dungeon Masters Guild DriveThruRPG is like Steam for RPG, and DMG is their D&D specific site.

• Inkarnate Fantasy map creator.

Useful sites

• The Monsters Know What They’re Doing Combat tactics for monsters. This is a brilliant resource for creating smart enemies instead of no-brain punchbags.
